Sie machte ein Redaktionspraktikum bei der Zeitschrift "Prinz" und arbeitete in der Redaktion im Lokalresort der „Hamburger Morgenpost“, ausserdem als freie Mitarbeiterin bei den Lifestylemagazinen „Hamburg Spezial“ und „Hi-Lights Hamburg“Texterin bei der Internetagentur „Gogolin & Co.KG“ und als stellvertretende Chefredakteurin des "blonde magazine" in Hamburg. 1993 durfte sie dann Das Casting für Bravo-TV moderieren.
